That looks great. I'm hungry for pastrami now. Thanks for sharing.

scotty
Was that Debi's pastrami recipe? Made it about a month ago myself and it tasted great. My only problem was I do not think I had ever had pastrami before so I couldn'y compare it to anything. But we will definelty be making it again. Neighbor and some friends told it it was very good pastrami though.....

Thanks for the pics scotty, that looks awesome!

Yes DEBS recipe. Believe this old deli owner.
It was exactly like the pastrame we sold or that i would get in the fancy NY delis and at Nathans in Coney Island Brooklyn.

JUST REMEMBER IT MUST BE VERY THIN TO TASTE CORRECT

The slicer is too small
it has a 5.5 inch blade. We had to quarter the pastramito slice it.
Im looking at something with a 7 or 8 inch blade. The 10 and 12 inch ones are the very best but too expensive for a toy. My meat grinder was either 2 or 350 dollars. That a lot for stuff at home.

Now i need a $9000 smoker right??????

I was looking at ot but the price seemed too cheap to be good.
I am pleased to hear that some folks already are using this model.
It is definitely priced right.
