so ... 5 degrees here in the StL MO area today. perfect temp for some soup to warm the ol' bones. I'll post the recipe if anyone is interested - it's one that my aunt found online and i kept tweaking it until i feel that it's perfect. i make 16 quarts at a go, and it typically lasts me about 2 weeks before i either finish it off or i start to look at it and wonder if it's still ok. most times i finish it off.
