This ones for you Rivet!! I would have never thought to smoke in the temperatures we had here yesterday before you hooked me up with the mods for my snp. It was 1 degree above when I fired up the smoker and got to high of 9 all day I beleive.
My craving for pulled pork overcame anything that stood in my way
While I was at it I decided to throw on a couple of turkey breasts too. I never brined anything before so I thought I would give it a try. I brined one breast and the other I did not. The one one the left is brined. After the brining process I seasoned it with Old Bay seasoning and thats it.
The other I seasoned with Tailgate rub I got from Paul (Beer-B-Q) Thanks Paul!! The Pork butt got rubbed down with Jeffs rub.
Getting the snp fired up. Preheating the manifold that goes in the smoking chamber. This thing works fantastic. If you have a snp you need one of these.

Turkey is done. The one on the right is brined. It was fantastic! I haven't had a piece from the other one yet. Saving myself for the pulled pork.
Butt roast at 165. I foiled it and finished it in the oven at this point. Yeah I know, CHEATER!! But hey it was cold out
And finally, what I had been waiting for. Pulled pork. Didn't get the beauty shot of it on the bun. I was done picture taking and it was time to eat!! I squirted on a little finishing sauce, a little slaw on the side and it was excellent!!
All in all it was a great Sunday and overall weekend. The Cowboys won, the Packers lost and some great Q was had.
