Thanks to everybody that I got advise from. 2 PICS TOO SEE

I was outside this morning at 5 am with a very lite rain and hot coffee.
I got the Cimarron up to 240 F and got a 12 lb. turkey going. Then I put a boned out 8 lb. butt in my Brinkman electric, both with hickory chunks.
Butt had been covered all night b4 in mustard and rub. I smoked till 100 F was reached then every hr. Rum and apple juice was sprayed on until 165 F. Then it was double foiled with more juice spray and put into a 250 F oven until 205 F.Total time was 12 hrs. Then it was taken and wrapped up like a baby in towels and sealed in a cooler for an hr.
WELL I cant begin too tell you how easy it fell apart and juicey and everybody was in ahh ! I should of made10 of them.
Thanks again !

Both look delicious.
I can't wait until I have the time to do my first butt. I don't think it's going to happen this year though. Starting to get cold up north and the next 3 weekends are booked with activities that don't leave room for a 10-15 hour smoke. I guess I'll just have to keep watching everyone else. Maybe a lirrle indian summer in November will help. COME ON GLOBAL WARMING HELP ME OUT!!!

Nice looking smoke !!!
I like the rum idea, I think from now on I may make it a habit that when I double foil it is time to start mixing double rums !!!
