Sticks In An Akon Kamodo

Hey guys have any of you used just sticks in an Akon Kamodo?

I don't own one personally, but I would wonder if it gets enough oxygen to burn correctly. Someone who does own one will chime in with a more sound answer.

A friend of mine has one and says it leaks air all over the place. im thinking based on that it would work but it would burn really hot. with that in mind i would use a mild wood like a fruit wood to mitigate the heat level. if you use a hickory or mesquite, it will get super hot. I don't think it would hurt anything to try just be weary of the heat levels.

Thanx everyone mine was a leaker when I purchased it but after a few mods it's pretty tight as far as leaking
