Tired of winter already. Had driveway plowed the last 3 days. Can't get on my tractor, mobility issues.

24 below last night.

Watertown Airport was 34 below. I have 25 acres in Copenhagen NY. 37 below last night. These were actual temps, not windchill.

You guys have us beat by a mile. We hit -9 last night. The wind hasn't reached us yet. That's for tonight. Can't wait.

That is serious FU cold up there...and snow. My MIL lived in Governeur in her younger days.

We're going up to a balmy 24F here in C-Virginia. Who knows what the weather will bring tonight. A week ago the forecast was up to 24" of snow. Two hours ago the forecast was 5.4" of snow followed by very little wintry mix. Now it's 6" followed by 1.5" wintry mix.

Seems we cant count on weather forecasting anymore. They are literally getting worse at it. Made the mistake of going out to top off my no-ethanol fuel stash for the genny yesterday. What a stupid idea. People are losing their freaking minds out there. God forbid we have an actual disaster.

I'm staying inside too. Making a pot of collards with a meaty hambone and some low carb cheddar biscuits. I'll step outside briefly to move my pickup for easier snow-throwing tomorrow and reposition the plastic on my wood stacks (winds last night) and bring in the nights wood to burn and that's it!

The cold you folks experience is exactly why I don't complain too much about my oversized mortgage here in the SF bay area. That and I'll let you keep those tornado's. :emoji_wink:
