Started my first build today!

I shouldn't say sold.. It's for my buddy, he's paying me for all the materials, no labor charge or anything.. But I brought a new guy into the wonderful world of smoking meat!! :grilling_smilie:

Lid-handle looks very nice detail, is that stainless ? How much did the materials cost ?

I've got about $650 in the build. The only stainless I had to buy was the exhaust pipe. It was $40 something dollars. All the rod 1" handle, 3/4" T handle, and all the 1/4" on the dampers were left over from some thing my father in law had been building. No idea how much that would have cost, but I'm sure it wouldn't be cheap!

Cheap price for a heavyduty smoker like that, it will last for lifetime without a doubt.

I did tear up a little when it left... I had a great time building it and hope to start another one soon!! Bought a new milling machine today, so I won't have to mooch off of my Father in Law!!
