I have a coffee grinder i use to grind spices and dried chilli. I have had a few occasion that I want a more controlled grind. My current one is great at making powder. But when i want to say crack peppercorns It is hard to control the Grind. I am looking at a couple of different model. Any and all input would be appreciated

Thank you,

I use the coffee grinder for the spices and the side of a chef's knife on a cutting board to crack the pepper.  A meat mallet works pretty well also, just need a broom when you get finished.

By the way, I have a burr mill? for my coffee, you can adjust the size of the grind,  I wonder if it could be used for spices?

I am looking at a Burr Grinder"mill" that is adjustable and used for coffee beans. Thanks
