Hi all. My name is Kim. I am from Salt Lake City, Utah. My favorite type of food is BBQ but all my life I have been a "griller'. My Charbroil grill died at the end of last year and I always wanted to get into slow smoking meats. I just went out and bought a Smoke Hollow 4-in-1 grill/smoker. I have already found great infomation on this site about that grill and about smoking meats. I am going to start putting my new grill/smoker together tommorrow and have started a thread that will follow my progress as I am going to do some of the "mods" I found on here as I am building it. Thank you for having such a great source of information on this site. Those of you who have the knowledge and share it here sure is appreciated by those of us who need help learning.

We enjoy helping the newbies and offer hints and suggestions when we can. I, like Bear , will answer when I see a post and/or have knowledge, I am a dedicated "Wood" burner and do most of my meals Low N' Slow.

However , I have had and have a suspicion I'll be getting another Gas Grill soon

, so I'll be passing Gas too maybe.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. I am so excited to get started learning. It is going to take me a couple of weeks to get my smoker up and running as I am doing the suggested modifications to it while I build it. I opened the box up Wednesday and then had to go to work. I felt like a kid on Christmas eve waiting to get off work the next morning so I could start working on it. I do have a question, what is the Q-view? is that pics of the BBQ? I will be posting pics as I go along on the thread I started about my build. Since I am new to this some Ideas I have for assembly might not be a good idea even though it seems like it to me so I appreciate all the input. I want to do my best to get my unit running well and hopefully extend it's life as long as I can.  Thanks again.-Kim
