Disc breaks are easy, drums takes a little more time and thought.

My old 97 Dodge 2500 got the drum brake upgrade by swapping the stock wheel cylinders with Chevy 3500 cylinders. The difference was amazing and didn't require screwing with the proportioning valve.

Ohh those things respond to boost so well. I highly recommend having your ring gaps opened up when they have the heads off. Deep into the 4 digit territory. But then again I have a horse power addiction......

Beautiful machine
Actually the LS7 does not respond well to boost above 5-8 lbs because this is a small block chevy with a big bore to achieve the 427 cubic inches. The piston walls are very thin.

I won't be going boost on this engine.

Congratulations on the new ride. Sorry not a big vette fan. More like 69 327 M22 Camero . Like a rocket !

45 years ago I purchased a very nice 69 RS by handshake agreement. The interior needed help, but the body was immaculate.
Owner decided to have a one good night before it went away. Broke a tie rod and destroyed the car in resulting roll.

@MileHighSmokerGirl, was at an impromptu car show in south east Missouri this weekend. A very nice gentlemen offered to let my son sit in the seat of his wife's corvette. Of course he accepted.

Very nice of him....but I would not like the soda cup on the console...lol

It was not our soda cup. That was theirs.
Well, hell then it on them...lol Do you remember what year the vette was? You are going to need to add more $ to the college fund so he has a graduation present.

I received my camshaft yesterday. Waiting on heads and modified red engine covers to get here and then it is off to the shop we go on June 14th.

Love it when parts arrive.
Paint the cam bearing and lobes with assembly lube. The longer it stays on the metal the better the plating of moly.

The LED bulb conversion is complete and smoked front side markers are installed.

I did take it for a quick little ride over to the park for a couple photos.
