Wonderful!

Started off with sleeping in. Then hot pancakes with lots of syrup, fresh rasberries, sausage and hot coffee. This afternoon we're going to have medium rare rib eye steaks, lobster tails, spinich salad and corn on the cob. What a day ...... and I'm so very proud to claim each of my youngsters (now getting a little old) as an outstanding investment in the future. One is an Air Force pilot and one works in a junk yard taking parts off junk cars. And believe it or not, they both say that they really enjoy getting paid to do what they would pay someone to let them do. It's nowhere near where I thought things would turn out but I have to be one of the most fortunate Dads in the world.

See you're in Chester, MD - home of the Chesapeak Blue Crab.  Nice gift!!

Got to avoid church and wife let me sleep in today.  Son's learning to drive, so took him out.  He got honked at the first time today by doing the speed limit.

Then took some of the chicken I smoked last night and made quesadillas for lunch.

Nice quite day - was going to work on honey-dos, but the family said no work on Father's day's allowed.

Mine is goin hectic, well..was hectic. Got 3 half slabs on the uds, mac salad is chillin in the fridge and the baked beans are just hangin out in the oven at 250!  Dinner in about an hour!

My wondeful boys & wife got me a 5 pack of different rubs & a shiney new chimney. I already have some csr ready to go. Just waiting for temps to come down. First time using stumpps charcoal. So far not

I cooked some very delicious T-Bone's and Porterhouse's on the grill for the family on Saturday, and today we cooked some catfish, shrimp, and hush puppies as well as some delicious sirloin and have just had an all around great day so far...

My Father's Day weekend is going well...

I cooked some a couple of t-bones and a few porterhouses Saturday night while the missus made potato salad and baked potato's. Today the inlaws cooked some catfish, shrimp, and a few hush puppies, while I cooked some sirloins on the grill. All in all it's been a good 2nd father's day for me.

Well, my son is 19 now, but I haven't seen him in years, so that kinda sucks, and I haven't seen my Dad since my brother's funeral in 2001, so that sucks, too.  Added to that, my 'roids are flaring up today, so Father's Day is pretty lame for me.

Other than all of that, it's been a really nice day, though -- just being lazy and drinking some wine and watching TV.

I steamed up some grocery store beef sausage (Eckrich) for lunch, and I've got a brisky in the freezer that I'm gonna thaw out and marinate.  Yummy!

Happy Father's Day to all of you Dads out there!

Rode the 4 wheeler up Marijilda Canyon this morning with the wife. Got baby backs smokin. Getting ready to head out for Missouri where we can really celebrate the forth with some rockin fireworks. YEEEEEEE HAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!
