Hello Alabama folk!  New to site/group, and I see some ideas of a possible get together.  Fine idea - in college I once attended a "smoking get together" but quickly left when I realized about 7 felonies per person were being committed.  Hopefully one of this nature will be a little more legal and tasty!  In the meantime, I reckon 21 members ain't going to be enough.  START RECRUITMENT!  The more the merrier, because we did things like this in Birmingham, and everyone brought his/her specialty.  Makes for some fine eating when all attendees bring a food they do best.  Not to mention the atmosphere is unique thanks to copious amounts of beer being consumed (what better than bbq & beer?!)  Anyways, look forward to "hanging out" here now and then, and hopefully we can eventually do something constructive (or maybe even destructive!)

Got to get a place and a date set!  I am open for ideas.

We have a little part around the corner from the house in Madison (have a pool too...at the house).  There is Sharon Johnson Park...and other places.
