Good day all,

I'm not a complete newbie to smoking, but I would still call my self a jr smoker.  I started out using a Brinkman gourmet charcoal smoker and quickly moved to the electric style for temperature control.  However, I have recently purchased a Masterbuilt 40" smoker and I LOVE it.

I like to smoke a lot of ribs (baby back and spare), pulled pork, chicken wings and stuffed jalapeno's.  I'm always looking for better techniques and recipes and I see this is the place to find them.  I recently started to make my own barbecue sauce and so far my family and friends love it.

My wife and I are season ticket holders for the Kansas City Chiefs and we've recently, along with two other couples, purchased a small school bus that we use for tailgating.  I'm in charge of cooking the meat so I've been putting my smoker to good use.

I look forward to some great discussions.  See you in the forums.
