Sorry for the late post made this almost a week ago.
Use one of the Turkey Thighs that was cured an smoked.

While the Turkey Thigh was simmering I diced some Onions,Celery & Carrots

Carrots were last in the pool

Meat removed from the bone

Skin and bone added back to the pot with some Basil,Parsley,Thyme

Served with some crusty bread or Texas Toast

Works as good as any home made Chicken Soup
as a cure

Looks awesome Richie. Good hearty soup. Points for sure. We make smoked turkey rice soup a few times a year. Always a hit.

Thanks I had a box of tiny shells that was used for this.Most of the time we use Ditalini

Warren I've made a lot of smoked Turkey soup over the years,this was the first using just a thigh.It was still super tasty an filling.Thanks for the Like I appreciate it

Charlie they are not really left overs,I cooled them so I could have some smoked meat in the freezer.Thanks for the point I appreciate it
