I had an idea in my head last weekend so I did a quick test to see how it would turn out. Bought some chicken breasts and cut them into small nugget sized pieces. I then seasoned them with some rub and tossed them in the smoker at 250 for about 45 minutes. After that I threw them into some buttermilk and then breaded them. Into the deep fryer they went for a few minutes just to get the breading crispy as they were already cooked from the smoker. I thought they were pretty good, and saved a few for my friends. Turns out they really liked them and want more for this memorial weekend. I'll post pics of them when I make more this weekend.

I like to smoke wings and then flash fry them for 2 min in the deep fryer. First tried them at a bbq restaurant in myrtle beach called brisket and I've been doing it ever since.

Is Brisket in Myrtle beach any good? I’ve lived here my whole life and drive by it all the time but we’ve never been there.

I enjoy doing chicken tenders/fingers/nuggets on the kettle with the vortex. As we're trying to still enjoy fried food without the oil.
