I didn't know where to put this thread... Hope this area is ok.
Sunday it's smoked pizza from scratch...

Here's the crust:

Here's the works with thick crust. Pepperoni, cheese, jalepenos, bannana peppers, sausage, mushrooms, bell peppers:

Pepperoni, cheese and rooms with thin crust:

Here they are on the smoker:

Done:

Cut in half:

This is the second time I've smoked pizza and they were great.
I sauted the toppings on the smoker before I put them on the pizza.
The rooms weren't put on the pizzas until about 10 minutes before they were done.

NICE!! Great idea!! I've done pizza on the grill a few times, but never thought of smoking them. I will have to give this a try very soon!

The first one I did a few months ago was a premade crust from the store. I never did like them but it turned out but it still had that blaw pizza taste.
Here's what I did with these:

1. If you notice the pizza pans, they are sorta like a heavy screen pan. I just happen to have a couple extra that I bought a while ago.
2. I purchased 3 packages of pan pizza crust dough. This is the kind that you just add water.
(hope that wasn't cheating with the dough)
3. I mixed two of the dough packages together for one pizza (the wife likes thicker crust) and the other went to second pizza. The instructions on the dough pkg says to preheat your oven to 425 and bake for 5 minutes before putting on the goodies. Instead, I stoked the smoker up to 300 and baked the double for about 8 1/2 minutes and the thin crust to about 7 1/2 minutes or until each crust was just turning a faint brown.
4. I bought a jar of pizza sauce. (cheating)
5. Put on the goodies. Like I said though, I sauted everything that went on to the pizza except the pep, cheese and mushrooms. I put my cast iron on the smoker close to my heat source and was able to get good heat to saute everything.
6. On to the smoker they went. It took the thick pizza about 42 min and the thin about thirty. I kept a close eye underneath the pizza. The mushrooms went on about 10 min before they were done.
