Smoke Stack

I have a Pit Boss Smoker. Is there is an advantage to having a smoke stack?
There is a metal plate bolted on the end where a smoke stack could be attached.

A stack will help induce a natural draft. If you are having draft issues then adding a stack is a viable option.
