Yeah but it sure was a pain! You can't imagine how many tissues that was! & fastening each one individually to ensure an airtight seal took forever - I used up every roll of tape I had, all my Elmers glue, rubber cement, tacks, paste, peanut butter & 6 or 7 packs of gum till I got done...

Sure wish I woulda thought to take a pic

Looks good. I was planning on making smoked salt to give away last Christmas. Looks like it will be this Christmas for it. Looks like you are using Sea Salt???

  Yes I am using sea salt. The coarse crystals work much better for me. I would have to find a much finer screen to use other salt. I put it in during hot smokes & usually add the same salt for a few different smokes till I get the amount of flavor I want. If I'm using the salt for cooking I mostly use it as is but if I'm adding it afterward I run it through a small grinder. I have oak, hickory, maple, pitmaster's choice & apple smoked salt. Each has its own unique flavor & they are all good
