I got it this evening and so far I’m impressed! I can’t wait to use it on my next smoke. I will say that it wasn’t exactly intuitive to figure out how to change the temp over to F from C. I can use C but prefer F. Once I figured out that you change all settings from the app that made it much easier. The other thing that confused me was where to charge the sensor. I was hesitant to pull the sensor out of the black base because they were so firmly attached. I didn’t want to break it before I even had a chance to use it! I figured that the charging port had to be there and I just wasn’t seeing it. I gave it one little tug in just the right way I guess because it just popped apart. Sure enough there it is and it’s supposed to do that.

Anyways I’m impressed with it so far. I set it on one end of my house and walked to the other and never lost Bluetooth connection. I like that! I just wish I had ordered it a day earlier so that I could have used it on the brisket I smoked last night! Oh well I guess that just means that I HAVE TO go get something else to smoke this week! :D

Dont worry my friend.Our products are of good quality.
Whether charging or inserting probe,all need to be plugged into the port in strongly for accurate reading or charging successfully.

Quick update from yesterday. I used it basically all day and the battery is down to something like 88%! Love that! Only real complaint is how loud the alarms are when they go off. Is there a way to turn the volume on them down?

It's so loud because some friends say it's too small to hear. There's no way to turn it down.We'll improve it!!

Ordered one Thursday got it yesterday used it today. Very user friendly. Used it on the Weber charcoal grill and the smoker, works great.

Can you tell me if this model is water resistant? Could it sit out in the rain while smoking provided it doesn’t sit in a puddle or do I need to protect it? It’s raining here now and I’ve got it in a ziplock bag just to be safe, but it would be good to know for in the future.
