I have a few pork shoulder roasts in the freezer, from a hog I had butchered earlier this year. They are a cross section of the shoulder, so the bone is directly in the middle of them. Camera is broke or I'd post a pic. They are about 2-3" thick each, and weigh approximately 3-4 lbs. each. Do you think that they would pull like the pork shoulder that you all talk about?

Thanks in advance

I'd like to smoke a couple of them tomorrow.

I don't see why not. Just follow temps foil at 165 with a bit of liquid, and take it to 220'.

Good luck!!

I was just wondering, cause they aren't the nice big round "Butts" like everyone here smokes.

Figured out a way to get a pic up!

Don't belive I would take it to 220*, I would foil it at 165*-170* as ron said, and take off the smoker at 200* and rest it. It will pull fine

I'll second the 200* internal temp it should pull great
