Second Gen 40" MES 40 and mailbox mod...

Have a buddy that has a 2G MES40. I sent him some smoked cheese. Needless to say they loved it. Want to teach him how to smoke cheese. How does his smoker work with the mailbox mod?

I would think all of the MES Generations would work the same with a Mailbox Mod.

However I would also think the Gen #2 would need it more than the others do.

Yes---That side exhaust vent is one of the problems with the Gen #2, but that shouldn't have anything to do with whether it works with a mailbox mod. The side vent is more of a Back-draft problem.
