So I am just doing my second cook on a large egg but my first high heat steaks. Got some New York strips from Costco seasoned with smoked salt and black pepper.

Nice. 700° pizza oven with platter setter or just another pizza stone on main cooking grate in a few minutes.

Them Kamado's are pretty versatile, I have smoked a lot of apple pies on mine.
I have a big offset so the Kamado has been getting dessert duty.
 
Yeah ... have done ribs butts and chicken of all descriptions many times - all came out great. Can hold temps to +\- 5 degrees for many hours on one chimney.
Haven’t yet but wanting to try pizza ... yours looks great!
