Let me get this right. No one cleans the inside of their smoker? I thought you had to clean it to prevent creosote buildup? I'm new at this and have onll used mine 3 times but I was gonna clean it for use this weekend. Do't clean the inside walls or lid?

Thanks

About all I do to the inside is scrape out any fat that has missed the water pan with a plastic scraper so it doesn't run out the bottom of my GOSM.

Hope this helps.

Take care, have fun, and do good!

Regards,

Meowey

All that black stuff is a good rust inhibitor as far as I'm concerned ... as long as it doesn't get on the food!
