Sage advice on a build needed

All, I'm new to the forum, but not to smoking. I recently moved from outside the US back to Georgia and the movers wouldn't take my UDS because it was too dirty inside. Now that I'm back, I've found 3 55gal drums that I want to make a versatile piece of hardware.

I want it to burn logs or charcoal/chunks, hot or cold smoke and be all one apparatus. Attached is a link to a rough plan I did up on power point, my question is, do you think I Could cold smoke with this design?
