round vs square exaust?

I am currently building a custom reverse flow, cc is 36" x 24" x 24" , fb is 24" x 18" x 18" , question is 4" x 30 in stack or should I go square? If I go square what diameter and length? Help and info is appreciated. Thanks

Your numbers are good for the 4" round. http://feldoncentral.com/bbqcalcula....61&fi=6,2,0,55.30,4.61&fc=13.71,19.38,147.46. I didn't run the numbers for square. You can plug the numbers in the calculator and adjust from their.

Add to the "diameter" of the square if you use it.... The additional surface area will cause additional friction...
