ROASTED PINEAPPLE & HABANERO SAUCE (40 OZ.)

has anyone used this before ??? It is a finishing sauce, we just seen at sams club ..was down there buying some fish and meat, seen it, had it in the cart,then didnt get it ,,, lol sams has it for 7.68 looked it just now and is listing at 14.99 ,,, probably will stop by this week and get some ,,

I ate something like this before and sorta had a sweet taste then a hot aftertaste ,, just makes you keep liking it ...

Should of bought it! It's an awesome dip for jalapeño poppers! The roasted garlic and mango version is also a keeper.

Your right, got home and started reading and use for a marinate for shrimp and chicken wings as well.. my favorite wings are from the Wing house, Mango Habanero

I think I used the whole bottle on this one butt, mixed it in mostly after pulling http://www.smokingmeatforums.com/t/266635/butt-going-on-shortly-glaze-question 

Very little habanero taste. I'ld say good but wouldn't go out of the way to have it again.

It's actually a finish sauce ... would like to marinate wings and also shrimp... and we sometimes smoke chops, also pork steaks I think it would be a good switch ...I like spicy, wife doesn't... if its not too hot, she will be okay with it ...

Yeah, that's what Chef JimmyJ helped me figure out. I didn't see much on the bottle about how to use it. It is nice looking stuff. It'll be interesting to see your report.

I use it on grilled pork loin.  I don't even marinate, just throw on the grill (low), then every time I flip them (often when using this sauce) I brush some on. Makes for a quick dinner.
Makes a nice glaze, and the pineapple chunks grill up really nice.

Stopped by sams tonight and picked up some of this ... will try it out this weekend on something, also want to marinate some shrimp with it sometime ....

I saw it at Wal-Mart a few weeks ago and I turned up my nose at the price.
