You know my feelings on his role
Was definitely saddened to hear of Val’s passing. He was and will always be Doc to me. There has not been anyone nor will there ever be someone that could ever top the performance he pulled off. To say he nailed the role is a gross understatement.

Tonight is going to be a Tombstone night as a tribute to Val.

Rest In Peace Val, you will surely be missed.

I highly recommend his auto-documentary "Val". It's narrated mostly by his son, as Val could barely speak at that point.
