I found if you get it close to the fill line it may loose air over time. After taking some food out and a reseal all is good.
I like this little thing for quick small jobs.. I do plan on using the large Food Saver for my Dear Pepperoni, Summer Salami and Sausage..

I used a regular zip lock inside the new Vac Seal bags and it sucked the air out of both. So for added protection in the freezer I may double up with the cheaper zip lock inside.
 
Whats the deal with having the food to touch the textured part of the bag.Its no problem I was just wondering.The ones Ive used so far have worked very well.
