Awesome!
I want one

Now Jim...that's something you shouldn't say if ya don't mean it! :emoji_wink: You can ask JLeonard JLeonard about that. He kinda was joking around when he made a similar comment last year...and now he has that giant smoker in his garage LOL.

Seriously, if you really wanted one, we could work something out. This was a lot of fun to build...and I wouldn't have a single problem with doing it again. Heck, this one could be for sale...then I'd just build another for myself!

That's awesome. Another good looking smoker. When you going to start the business?

Ha!! Thanks Adam! I'm too old and too lazy to turn this hobby into work. Just do it for fun. Plus I'm slow. If I started taking it seriously, I'd have to work a lot faster than I want to work.

No offense Ryan ( Brokenhandle Brokenhandle ) and Jim ( JLeonard JLeonard )
But you definitely saved the BEST for last. Well maybe just the third? I have a hunch you will be building more.

Thanks John! I like 'em all! And yeah...I'll probably do it again. Every so often I get the itch to try something else, so we'll see. :emoji_thumbsup:

Great job on this one Red! Can't wait to see a fire in it! Only thing I can think of is it needs a beer pole... or drink holder! :emoji_blush:

Thanks Ryan! I really don't need a beer pole...I usually keep my beers in my hand LOL! Easier to reach that way... :emoji_wink: :emoji_laughing:

Totally understand priorities Jim! But remember that all you gotta do is ask and we'll figure something out.

It looks fantastic. Going to cook some delicious meat on there. I am curious, how much are you into it for the build? Raw material, parts, etc. Did you plan the build and pick everything up before starting? Or was it partially leftover material you had laying around the shop from previous projects and you bought a handful of things to finish it out? I am always wondering how much price differs throughout the country material wise.

Thanks man!

I planned the build for quite some time, made a detailed materials list, then went to the steel yard and ordered all the hardware I'd need at the same time. I did use a little steel I already had left over from other projects...but this is made mostly from new material. I always try to save all my receipts, I just need to take the time to add it all up...but I figure it's around $700.

That isn't too bad at all. Definitely a solid build. Looking forward to seeing more from you in the future.

Really nice work . Came together fast too . Funny how you think about a project long enough , that it almost becomes automatic when you start building .

Absolutely amazing design and build!!

Thank you kindly!

Like I expected, Awesome

That should hold a can or two of those little Vienna Sausages, lol

Looks good enough to take home Joel.

Thanks David! I'm looking forward to the maiden cook...but I hadn't thought of vienna sausages LOL

Thanks Brother! Yeah it went pretty smooth - partly planning, and partly because it was a less complex and detailed project than the others I've done. Basically just a box with dampers and racks.

I think that is what I love about this smoker / grill
The simplistic of it . I do not mean your build I mean for the use of your great build.

I will be looking around here to see if I can find something similar to yours .

As long as it can cook some little weenies , ha ha
