Decided to let'er rip, to see what he could do as far as high heat goes.

It hadn't settled in yet, but I was hungry, so I went in the kitchen, and formed up a few burgers, seasoned them heavily with Kinder's Butcher's Blend burger seasoning.(the stuff is good).
Waited a few more minutes and tossed on a few burgers, and basted them with melted butter.

After a few minutes I flipped'um, one thing I'm gonna add are grill grates, to get wider char lines.
Just my preference!!!

Waited a few minutes then threw on the buns and some extra sharp cheddar and pepper jack slices.

Brought them inside, to dress them up.

All ready for the dance, my wife's is the overly saucy one on the left, it drives me nuts watching her make up her burger, what'a mess. LOL!!!

These were great, after I get the grill grates, the Beast will be a burger machine. Second cook was a success!!!

I thought I took a shot of my burger after the first bit, but it didn't come though for some reason.

Thanks for reading.
Dan.

P.S.
I can see pizza cooks in the near future, this thing gets hot, high 600s low 700s. Perfect for my old pizza dough recipe.

Nice cook Dan, burgers look phenomenally done! Never heard anything but great feedback on RT’s. If I ever get another pellet grill, it’ll likely be the RT DualFire.

I hardly ever used my Camp Chef the past few yrs. I used it pretty much exclusively for the first few yrs, then got away from it looking for a heavier smoke profile. Even bought q new offset. After a summer with the offset last yr I realized that I no longer enjoyed babysitting it, now Im back to a pellet grill. LOL!!!

So far the beast is working great. I turn it in and it almost instantly starts producing smoke, it fires up super quick. And it eeems to hold an even temp much better than the Camp Chef.

I just ordered a pizza attachment for it a few minutes ago.

I have wanted to start making pizza again, but my long time S.D. dough recipe was lost in our last move.
It took me months to develop the recipe. I hope that I remember some of it once I get started in on it again.
I think I will.

My first impressions of the R.T. is I like it so far. I hope that I learn to love it.

Which pizza gizmo did you get?
I see you’re also going for grill grates, don’t forget a griddle as well. That would be a pretty complete set of accessories.

Green Mountain, I love the design.

I haven't decided which GrillGrates to get yet, prob the OG G.G. I've used them in the past on a low BTU weber I used to have, and they worked grate*!!!
I have a good size CI griddle for it already I just need to clean it up and reseason it.

I get a feeling the new ones get hotter than my older one.

nice looking burgers! That thing is too clean...bahahah
