Re-packaging ?

So my smoked cheese is ready to eat. I have three chunks per bag. Once I open the bag (vacuum sealed) can I re-bag (vacuum seal) a chunk or two ? I should have bagged the chunks individually but didn't think about it at the time. TYIA.

I cut the blocks as needed, then tightly wrap the extra pieces individually in plastic wrap, and vacuum seal them in one bag.

I see no reason why you can't

Yup. I do it all the time. Just make sure the new sealing area is clean with no oils from the cheese.

Absolutely, there are zero problems with doing so.

Like everyone stated above there should be zero reason to worry about it.
