some summers here in Colorado as i'm  sure happens in other western states we are under a fire ban  and I mean total ban , not even charcoal grills are allowed , so how you  fellas that have charcoal / wood smokers get around this ?

everything I own is propane which is allowed ,  do you just say the hell with it and risk a fine ?   wait till the 1st snow ?

  just wondering

We've been under a fire ban for a while now and that includes cooking fires. You can use propane and I believe you could use an electric smoker. We are in the southernmost part of the Willamette valley in Oregon
