Is having a burn out the only way to get rid of that "propane" smell from a propane tank grill build? Can it be eliminated with chlorine bleach? Thanks for any help.

I can't say with any certainty as I never considered any other way than burning it out. Is there a reason you are opposed to burning it out?

Isn't there a problem with warping the metal especially around the door opening? How long do you keep the fire going? Thanks

From my own experience I can say we did deal with door warpage. However, I attribute that more to welding the strapping on than burning it out. I may be wrong about that but we were able to fix the doors.

Solaryellow, thanks for the information. One less thing to worry about since I've never built a grill before. I need all the help I can get.
