So I got a prime rib all ready this morning and something came up and I may not be able to smoke it this afternoon... The use by date was the 5th, it was cryovacked. If I can't smoke it today, think I should freeze it with the rub on it or just let it sit in the fridge in plastic wrap? Thanks in advance

Personally, I would freeze

Can you get to it on Saturday if not today?

Sure hate to see a nice of meat go to waste
