Preferred Propane Smokers and other stuff

I have had a Char Griller for about 8 years and still have not mastered maintaining a constant temp.  I want to go to a propane but would like some opinions on propane vs electric.  I'm looking for good smoking ability but something easier to maintain constant temps.  Also, what features should I look for in either one AND the best brand smoker to buy, electric and propane.  Now, don't everyone speak at one time!!
