We had a birthday party for my brother Sunday and he wanted to fire up the cooker . My brother in law and I are the cooks and decided on a bacon wrapped pork loin , country style ribs and due to time restraints sliced Boston butt . We even threw on some chicken for a little diversity . I didn't use my normal pork rub and instead went with a store bought "Sycamore Hill Farms , Red Dry Rub" and mixed it with brown sugar but I was very pleased with the store bought and will probably use it again . We used pecan wood and cooked on the small reverse flow . Unfortunately I must have had a smudge on my lense and my prep pics didn't turn out but I got a few here of the final product . Enjoy .

I figured I may as well add this one from Saturday night . We ran the bird dogs all day Saturday and brought home 14 quail . Put them on with some baby backs for the ladies , burgers for the kids and sausage to munch on . Those birds were GOOD !

And here's one of the cooker we used .

Everything looks really good. Thanks for sharing.

If I could spend the rest of my life chasing bird dogs and cooking quail , I'd die a very happy man !
