Greetings!

My very first post here. :)

I just setup and seasoned my Masterbuilt 20075315 (40" Electric Smoker) yesterday. And I am anxious to start smoking! For my first entree: 8 lbs/2 racks of Baby Backs.
Previously, I have baked and then removed and placed on my Weber Grill for added flavor.
Can I simply place these ribs in my Smoker for the "full cook" and enjoy? If so, can they simply be rubbed/seasoned and placed in the preheated smoker for say 3-4hrs at 225 and be ready to eat without any further wrapping and or prep?
Any suggestions for the simplest of ease using this Smoker for great results is appreciated.

They can be placed right in the smoker they may take longer then 3 - 4 hours. You will find a lot of suggestions on how to cook them some will swear that you have to wrap them others will say no. A lot of the answers on here are personal preference and does not mean they are right or wrong.

Also let me say welcome to the forum.

Thank you Warren for the response!

I used 3-4 hrs because that is generally the time in my oven. Will the temps vary that much in an electric smoker, even though it displays the same temp?
