Pork Chops & Home Fries (Panfried)
We’re making due with what we got here in the Freezer, and this IMO is the best way to make Pork Chops, other than Smoking.
The only better way to make Pork Chops IMO is Smoking them, but Mrs Bear doesn’t want hers smoked.
I find them too dry when grilled or made any other way, except SV, but Pan Frying is still our favorite way to make them, especially thin ones like we generally purchase.
So Mrs Bear got busy doing her Signature Home Fries, by first Baking the Taters in the “Nuk-U-Later”.
Then she cuts them up & drops them in a Pan with a Bunch of Butter in already.
She keeps them moving around in the pan until they get browned the way we like them.
Thanks for the Visit,
Bear
First We Bake the Taters, and let them cool off. Then peel the skins off real easily:
Here Mrs Bear is cutting the taters up & dropping them in the Pan with Butter in it:
Here's 3 Fresh Pork Chops, sliced at about 5/8" to 3/4" thick:
Bear's share of the Home Fries:
Pork Chops just about Done:
Bear's First Night's Pork Chop Supper, with Home Fries:
Bear's second Night's Supper, with Green Beans & Baked Tater: (A little of Jeff's BBQ Sauce on the side)
