Pork butt

Today is my girl friends birthday so I am cooking a pork butt. we both like meat. Not really sure what i am going to do with it yet besides pull it. Just wondering what is your favorite way to eat pulled pork ?

Plain on a plate with hot pickled onions.

Loaded pulled pork baked potato.

Pulled pork Sammie's with the buns butter toasted in a skillet.

Big Poblano, Anaheim or Cubanelle chiles stuffed with pulled pork and cheese.

If you want something other than just PP sandwiches you could make a huge plate of PP nachos, PP quesadillas, PP pizza, PP chili, PP grilled cheeses. The possibilities are endless.

On texas toast or a bun with pickles, fresh jalapeno, onions, and latly a little coleslaw. I also like a little spicy bbq sauce on it.

I like chopped butt too. a) you don't have to cook it as long and b) it's a different texture than pulled.

The only negative is you might have to remove some of the left over fatty parts that didn't render.

I'm partial to the huge plate of pulled pork nachos, like above. Throw on some pickled onions and fresh jalapeno slices. A nice mango homemade salsa as a final nail....

We personally like it on baked potato with nacho toppings (salsa, sour cream, green onion, nacho cheese, jalapeno and/or Valencia if you dig heat). Also, I don't pull but chunk it. Often times we eat it straight up AKA "keto" LOL.
