Let me be clear upfront.  I'm not talking about a finishing sauce.

I'm looking for a good BBQ sauce for my pork butt.  I love my BBQ sauce but my girlfriend doesn't like it on her pork.  The reason is that it isn't what she is used to.  She is used to a thinner, more vinegary sauce on her pork.  Does anybody have a good recipe they would like to share that they think she may like?  I'm not sure of the flavor she is used to but I do know what it looks like.  It is a very thin red sauce.  If nobody had suggestions I may just mix some of the finishing sauce into my BBQ sauce to see how she likes that.

Sounds to me that she likes a good carolina pig sauce.

Down here where i'm from most everyone likes a thick sweet spicy sauce.

Give me a min. and i'll find a link for what i think your looking for.

I tried this one from the wiki written by: soflaquer,

1 Cup Cider Vinegar
2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
1 Teaspoon Tony Chachere's Cajun Seasoning
1 Teaspoon Course Black Pepper
1 Teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes

I followed it exactally and found all the ingredients at wally world... I put about 1/3 cup on a 6lb butt and it was fantastic.. I don't like thick and sweet either.
