We make a burger every Friday night and have done so for about 10 years.
My burgers are more sausage burger with seasonings I put in it.
We've been testing out how to make crispy steak fries and may have discovered something mostly by accident.
My wife thin sliced the steak fries.
I parboiled the taters for 20 minutes and when pulled them out of the microwave I hoped the slightly mushy fries would work.
Seasoned them up with garlic powder and put the on the grill as soon as I dropped the coals. It usually takes the grill about 3 - 5 minutes once the coals are dropped to get to 350F+. I let the taters on for a few minutes beyond that and they were crispy. Two "mistakes" and it worked. Go me!
Oh, the burger was tasty.
