was wondering if anybody has thought about or used this type of vacuum sealer...was pretty cheap and thought i would give a try but just wondering if anybody has used or is using it presently..how do you like it...is it worth it...any info would be greatly appreciated..thanks

Seen them on tv. They look they would work. I think the bags can be reused too.

I bought one the other day, but have not had the chance to try it out.

I used to use a straw....accept with raw poultry......a straw works pretty darned good.
Just keep it in the very end of the bag and zip it closed as far as you can....suck out the air, pull out the straw and seal. lol

I have a food saver but saw this in the store yesterday for 99 cents.
I bought one for the heck of it.
Hope they work just because.

I just slowly dip a ziplock bag in a sink of water till the water pushes all the air out of the bag. Zip up and 99% of the air is eliminated from the Ziplock. Probably not as good as a vaccume bagger for long term freezer stuff, but it works good for leftovers and such.
