Well, I started to post this in the bread section like Debi did because of the crust, then I started thinking, well it is more than crust.......maybe in the cheese section just since it has cheese........sausage maybe since it is homeade sausage on it...........when I all was said and done I said heck with it and put it here.
Made 2 pizzas, one in a pan and one put together on a peel to transfer to the hot stone in the smoker. Only posting the pan pics becuase the one on the stone came out ugly with a capital U. Almost dropped it on the way to the smoker, then it got hung up on the transfer to the stone.......tasted fine......looked bad.
1. Home made sourdough crust with EVOO brushed on
2. Sauce with oregano, basil, thyme, parsely sprinkled on
3. Cheeze - slices of provolone, parm sprinkled on, followed by mozzerella
4. Pepperoni and Sausage - Like more pepperoni than this, but underestimated how much I had at the house. The sausage was a home made "spicy scilian"
5. Cooked at around 375 for I would guess 30 minutes or how long a couple of beers by the pool takes with kids complaining they are hungry. I usually like it a little more browned but the kids won out..........oh with a little apple wood for smoke.
Here is the pics.......hopefully they won't be huge.......still working on that size think. I am a BBQ guy not a camera and computer guy. LOL
You can see "ugly" on the stone on the rack below the one in the pan. Man, are my racks really that dirty?
