Good thing I'm set with grills! You dang enablers!
I was just plnking around Webers site . saw they had the Slate griddles for $50 off .
Make that an even $100 ,,, I dare 'em !

Good call.
I saw yesterday that some of the New old stock EX6 SmokeFire XL's were heavily discounted .
I've been watching that since they came out with the Searwood . Didn't happen like I thought it would , but that time might be here .
Maybe something to consider . $1200 list marked down to $900 . I'd watch that and see what they do going closer to July 4th .

I've been all over You-Tube viewing Searwood experiences. Took a hard look at one yesterday, and even though I have a Weber Performer, a 22" WSM, and a RecTeq RT-1250, Weber is calling. The RecTeq is great, but just too big for us. A serious buyer for the 1250 would send me running to the Searwood store.
My shed is full of BBQ stuff at the moment, and I'm thinking SWMBO would never allow another smoker! What to do!?!

my buddy did a ton of research on the Searwood and for him the limited deck space and the versatility to go from smoke foods to searing steaks and burgers is a big selling point. I live at the farm I grew up on now and have all sorts of space, besides all the junk that I am slowly cleaning. When I had my house in the neighboring small town I could always make an excuse for cooking projects and did a variety especially with my small offset/propane OK Joe. Now on the farm I need more convenience a lot of times and I don't even farm or ranch anymore.
