Pellet Smoker Auger Design

Been a GMG user for a number of years - have had many issues off and on with the auger jamming up. Most units have the same design - hopper with a horizontal auger that moves pellets.

What are the other delivery designs that DON'T rely on this technique? I've had two pellet stoves that use mostly gravity feed that have NEVER jammed.

Pellet choice has helped as has sifting before loading but... contemplating an upgrade.
