Anyone have comments on this smoker, not much info or reviews.

Smoke Daddy seems to have a well-deserved reputation for quality products and customer support.
They tend to have original ideas and products. I have a MasterBuilt vertical pellet smoker (about 10% the price of a 2300) so I can't give you 1st-hand info, but here's some general comments:

As compared to conventional pellet grills, verticals hold more meat (stacked, multiple grates) but that means it's harder (and messier) to get inside to spritz, mop, etc. and there's a bit more bending over. (Pellet grills put everything at counter height.) Because of the forced convective airflow in pellet cookers, the temperature stays pretty uniform in a vertical pellet machine, which is not always the case in some vertical smoker layouts. All other things equal, verticals have a bit better space utilization for a slightly smaller footprint, although the 2300 is certainly not diminutive.

Thanks for the reply Bill. I recently sold a Stumps Baby XL, and was considering a pellet grill. This had a similar layout, but I understand what your saying. Appreciate the post.
