This book was highly recommended to me and it did not disappoint. It is well written and laid out more like a story than a recipe book, but don't be fooled. There are tons of recipes in this book, and they are all indexed so finding a bunch of recipes is always easy.

The author(s) of this book talk to all the legends of BBQ and try to get at least one recipe from each of them.

Its a good book and I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for some different recipes to try or wanting to expand their knowledge on BBQ.

I got it for Christmas and enjoyed every bit of it! Excellent story and recipe's and I especially loved the old photographs. I just got Smokestack Lightning for my birthday and as with PL&BBQ it is as much a story as a recipe book.
