★ Lifetime Premier ★
I got an email from paypal this morning telling me my request for a one year premier membership to smf was denied due to the on line stored card. First off, I don't have a stored card with them. I have used them in the past but only on a singular entry order mode. The company they listed I never heard of. By the way, I have a 99 year premier membership and just wanted to let you know to be on the look out.

A few days ago I got a notice "from" paypal saying I had bought a $57/month subscription to some Canadian cable TV service. I logged in a few times since then  and there were no recent transactions so I don't know what was up - maybe a phishing scam?

I have only about $11 now in paypal so I couldn't get ripped off for much - you can't overdraft paypal, right?

Is it coming from the real PayPal?
I got such emails from "banks", Apple store. The email looks legit. But if you press on the link they send , where you are suppose to go and login, it takes you to a weird named website, similar in appearance with the bank or apple store page. However the name is not right, and most links on the page are dead.

Needless to say....Don't login there.

If you are concerned about fruadulent charges just login into the legit website. If there is no charge, or message it's clearly a scam.

You guys (south of the border) have much better TV packages (streaming, cable). We buy US streaming services not the other way around (well...Not so much now as they cracked down on VPNs). That alone indicates a scam. :-)
