I did the same thing with the eye round I found at 2.99 a pound. I've never seen that at under 2.00 a pound. That is a smoking deal. I have a few days off, finally. So I plan on doing something. Won't be outside though more then likely. Got some nasty weather coming.

Up to 40 with an occasional gust to 65 over here. The kiddies better be holding onto to their trick or treat bags this evening. Edit: maybe not for the kids. It is supposed to start around midnight here.

Man what a deal, I would have to plug in my backup freezer for that smokin deal! Tuned in to see your finish. I made some last year from a knuckle but it ended up too tough and gristly. I want to do some from a round or eye of round this year for sure.

I couldn't get as big a freezer as I use to have,or I would have bought even more.Another store has Pork Butts 99 cents a pound.Thanks for the Like I appreciate it
