Pastrami sandwiches

This is my second pastrami I have smoked. From this we made some sandwiches.

Your killing me this AM. That pastrami sandwich looks amazing!! I am all out in my freezer, Wife doesn't like pastrami or kraut, so I don't get to make a batch often.

Looks like you did more a standard beef rub, just a little heavy on the pepper versus, traditional Pastrami rub, is that correct? Did you steam it after smoking, or ?

BTW, that it one beautiful smoker as well.
